FAQ

An Introduction to Spikko (6)

What is Spikko?

Spikko is an internet-free communications solution and app
that routes worldwide numbers to your phone.

Pick one or pick multiple phone numbers in over 50 countries worldwide. All of them can route to one phone.

The best part? The Caller IDs are yours to use.

Simply choose where you would like your Caller ID and we’ll assign you a number in that location.
Callers from that region can use your number to call you at local rates.

Call out using your Spikko number or regular line for low international rates.

No annoying call-in codes or PINs necessary!

Do I need a data or Internet connection to use Spikko?

No internet or data is required.

Spikko backs onto your regular service provider.
As Spikko calls are made on GSM waves, internet access is not necessary.

How does Spikko work?

Just like any phone service, Spikko uses your mobile network or land line.

Spikko has agreements with local phone companies worldwide to provide the routing service to your phone. In addition, Spikko provides you with a local phone number for dialing out and receiving calls on.

You do not need a data plan to use Spikko (aside from initial installation).

Wherever you are, dial as normal; Spikko takes care of the rest.

How do people call me on Spikko?

People dial your Spikko number as they would your “real” phone number.

Because it is!

Simply give your contacts the number as you normally would: on your website, social media profile, and business card. The caller dials as usual; Spikko rings your regular phone.

Calls to your Spikko number are charged to the caller as any other number with that prefix would be.

Do my contacts need to have Spikko?

No.

Spikko acts exactly like a regular phone number.

Does the other person know I am using Spikko?

No.

Calls from Spikko appear as any other call, except you get to control the CallerID shown!

How do number subscriptions / packages work?

Spikko numbers are secured with a monthly recurring charge.

Spikko has numbers in 50+ countries available for purchase.

That’s over 4,000 locations!
Some numbers may require special approval and/or paperwork.

Most will instantly be assigned upon successful payment.

Spikko numbers are kept active by payment of a monthly recurring subscription charge. Billing cycles renew 30 days after the day of the initial purchase. At that time, the monthly recurring fee will be charged.

This is done using the payment method on file.

If a client does not want to be automatically billed monthly, it is their responsibility to unsubscribe and resubscribe their line via Spikko app or www.Spikko.com

One may cancel their subscription at any time without additional fees.

After canceling a subscription, Spikko numbers are active until the next billing renewal date.
Upon the end of the billing cycle, the number will be removed from the user account. No additional charges for that number will occur.
