FAQ / Does my Spikko number have its own voicemail?

Yes, Spikko voicemail is yours if you want it!

Want a separate Spikko voicemail? Here’s how.

Default voicemail setting for all Spikko numbers:
All calls forward to your divert (forwarding) phone number.
If you do not have a voicemail for your regular number, you will not have a voicemail for your Spikko number.
If you have a voicemail, your Spikko calls will follow your established voicemail settings.

How do I listen to my voicemail messages?
Voice messages are emailed to your username email address as sound files.

Can I set up a special inbox greeting?
Spikko voicemail comes with a standard greeting only.

How to set up your voicemail on Spikko App:

    • Make sure that you have an internet connection.

      o This is only needed to save your system changes.
    • Open your Spikko app
    • Select the “Menu” icon (3 horizontal lines)
    • Go to “Settings”
    • Go to “Voice Mail”
    • Select the line whose settings you would like to change by tapping the downward arrow next to “Voice Mail settings for number:”
      • Choose from one of the following voicemail options.
      o “Always forward”: Calls will always forward to voicemail
      o “When not answered”: Calls go to your Spikko voicemail after 30 seconds of ringing
      o “Off”: Spikko calls to go to your regular voicemail  (if you have one)

 

If you do not use Spikko App or would like Spikko Support to change your settings:

    •Please email support@spikko.com
    •State each Spikko number for which you would like your voicemail activated
    •For each Spikko number, state to which email address you would like your voicemail sent.
    •For each Spikko number, choose from the following voicemail options:
      o “Always forward”: Calls will always forward to voicemail
      o “When not answered”: Calls go to your Spikko voicemail after 30 seconds of ringing
      o “Off”: Spikko calls to go to your regular voicemail  (if you have one)
